We would recommend starting the process with a “Blue Sky” session where Genesee consultants lead key company staff in a structured discussion of people information needs: What information about people do you need to build upon to ensure the on-going success of your business? We would then work with your team to determine the best way to get this information. Some may come from the census survey some may already be in-house but requires additional analysis. Some may need to be collected in special research studies. The purpose of this exercise is to develop a long term plan for collecting information, determining the objective and focus of the employee survey and providing insights to company leaders on an ongoing basis.
We use the Genesee Advantage Framework© as a guide in these discussions to help determine issues of concern and the valued perspectives and insights resulting from these discussion are integrated into the survey content and post survey can organize the findings, providing valuable insight into the areas of strength and opportunity for the organization.
