Other Surveys - Program Tracking Surveys

  • Conducted to use a census or general sample for this survey; most often it is a targeted sample - people who are specifically influenced or involved in the project

  • Repeated periodically through duration of a specific project

  • Content focused on specific program or initiative

  • Action taken by program managers

When a major initiative is underway, a survey may be implemented to provide focused feedback on that specific program. It is administered at regular intervals during the program's implementation, or for smaller scale projects, just at the end of the initial efforts. This allows the program managers to track the success of the new program and make necessary adjustments while there is time to benefit from such adjustments. The focus of the survey is limited to just the program of interest.

Although the organization may initially involve training of all employees, the sample used throughout may only include those employees who have completed the training.
