Genesee to Present and Exhibit at SIOP

Genesee presented at the 20th Annual SIOP Conference, held in Los Angeles on April 15th through April 17th. Both presentations were very well attended and sparked a lot of interest from participants.

  • "Remembrance of Surveys Past: The Evolution of the Employee Survey"
    The Employee Opinion survey has become a fixture in many companies since its origins in the 1950’s. This series of presentations looks back at the changes in surveys, survey technologies, and the role of the survey professional. In addition to a discussion of changes in general, changes to a survey program in one company are discussed.

  • "Have You Ever Wondered? Research Ponderables from Employee Survey Experiences"
    Seven research inquiries inspired by practitioner experiences and implications for survey design and analysis are discussed. Topics include differences between early and late survey responders, role of anonymity, characteristics of those making comments, influence of group size on survey results, value of industry norms, and lessons learned from first survey experience.
